How To Clone Templates, Widgets, Scripts from blog/websites

Well, cloning in scientific terms means a replica of the same object or thing. In hacking world, cloning refers to same. In real word cloning is done by scientists and experts but in tec world, a noobie can also learn eaily how to clone a thing. Well, there are number of things on internet available to clone, like: templates, widgets, scripts, codings, softwares, programs, etc. There are lots of ways to clone a thing. Well, first of all, look at some benefits of cloning a thing:

Benefits:

  1. Saves time and money
  2. Easily clone and upload others cool templates
  3. High Quality Widgets
  4. And More!!

Now, how cloning works?

Now, most of the templates, widgets, scripts, toolbars, etc. mostly use a CSS styling in their objects. So, you have to do the following things in order to clone a thing, you must also copy the CSS of that thing. The tutorial goes like this:

  • Cloning HTML
  • Cloning CSS
Before starting cloning, I would recommend everyone of you to have some basic skills of HTML and CSS. The best way is Google and Youtube. Lets start!

Cloning HTML...

Now, a widget always have a HTML part. First of all, if the widget has an image or text, then copy it and open the source code of the webpage. Now, search for that piece of URL or text. Now, copy the related text. Now, you have completed the HTML part for cloning.

Cloning CSS..

Well, there are thousands of scripts available in a webpage so the question arises that, how would you find that particular CSS? Here is the solution. If you have learned CSS, then you must know ID and Classes in it. ID starts with '#' and classes with '.' and to declare them, you have to use either div or the specific element. So, if you want to clone the CSS, then look for the code something like this is your HTML part:

<div id="something here">

OR

<x class="something here">

x can be any variable like, p, a, font, etc.

Now, when you find the quoted text, then simply find the text between "" in source code and you would get the CSS for that!

Note: In higher standards, its tough to clone templates because they have more tags, widgets, CSS, etc.

Enjoy!!
